Your shoes will find plenty of purchase on the non-slip nylon step pads, which feature molded treads with deep channels for draining water away.

The main 3” tubing features a 0.070” wall thickness, and is drawn over mandrel (DOM) for strength. The mounting brackets are 3/16” thick plate steel.
